This piece is a Tasnif for medium level players.
It has microtones on A and E. They are also quarter tones, so it means you will need to place the extra frets half way between two normal frets. By extra frets I mean fretlets and if you don't know what I am talking about please check the post “Setting up your guitar for Persian music”. There I explain how to make your fretlets at home and place them on the fretboard.
Again I will remind you that if you use a lot of pressure on your left hand and tend to bend the strings; even if a little only; when you play you should move the extra frets a little to a flatter position.We will find here the same microtonal A both on the first and second strings. This is due to certain musical phrases that are easier to play shifting positions.
WHERE TO PLACE FRETLETS OR EXTRA FRETS FOR PERSIAN MUSIC…
Extra frets will go on the third string between first and second normal frets.
Second string between third and fourth as well as eighth and ninth.
First string between third and fourth.
